Spring 2022 Final Edition – May 25, 2022

Laguna Hills Little League

HAPPY HITTER
What a Season!

As the season comes to a close, we sincerely hope that you had as much fun as we did.

We love to reflect on the smiles, the victories and the friendships created in Little League. Our kids experienced first hits, amazing catches, and great teammate support!

We remember some of the tough moments too, which build grit and resilience that builds character and wonderful humans.

Thank you to our parents and volunteers that gave countless hours every week to give our kids a chance to have these experiences.

A little personal note I want to share:

Almost every time I’m with my sons at the field practicing, a random parent walks up to me and tells me the same thing: “Cherish these moments, I remember when my kid played baseball/softball, it was the best time of my life.”

Well random parent, we do cherish the moments, and I hope all of you do too.

Til’ Next Season!

“It’s hard not to get romantic about baseball.”

Go LHLL!

Angels Day is Sunday!

Blue Jays vs. Angels

May 29, 1:07pm

Hello Angel Day Families,

The day is fast approaching – this Sunday, May 29th, is going to be a great day for our families at Angel Stadium!

Your tickets have been distributed to your managers, so if you haven’t received them, please arrange to meet up with your manager to do so before Sunday.

Starting at 10am, our families will be meeting for a pregame tailgate under the “Big A” sign in the parking lot, which is a giant red metal A that you can’t miss.  We’ll have tasty breakfast burritos and donuts which are included in the price of your ticket.  Around 11:00am or so, we’ll begin to move our kids toward the parade line to get ready to walk onto the field before the game.  The parade typically starts around 11:30am, outside of Gate 6.

Each team will receive 3 parade passes for managers, coaches, or team parents, and these are the only adults that will be allowed on the field with the kids.  Friends and family can enter the stadium through Gate 4 or Gate 6 starting at 11:30 so that they can photograph their children.  No food or drinks (including water) are allowed on the field at any time.

All Little Leaguers should be dressed in their jerseys but please be sure not to wear cleats.

Thank you to our volunteers
