Laguna Hills Little League

HAPPY HITTER
Opening Day Edition

AA Dodgers, Led by Damon Pitt

On February 26th, Laguna Hills Little League kicked off their 50th year with an amazing day of fun.  The day began with player pictures, followed by complimentary baseball cards (thanks, Kids Rule Sports!) and donuts.  The Laguna Hills Fire and Police Departments then led a parade of all of our teams onto the field.  8-year old Brendan McCanta, a star in the making, belted out an unforgettable rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.  Little League superstars Xavier LaSala and Isaiah Romero led the players in the Little League Pledge, and Major Leaguer and Laguna Hills legend John Lamb threw out the first pitch to AAA All-Star Thor Thuler.

We hope all of you are as excited as we are to get the season underway. Let’s have a lot of fun and make many new friends and memories!

PLAY BALL!!!

Pictures From Opening Day

This Week in LHLL

This year we’re going to try to do something a little different, something special, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!

When you take a video of your superstar getting a great hit or making a play in the field, please send it in to media@lhll.org.  If we get enough support, we will make a weekly highlight reels for the kids to enjoy.

We prefer landscape mode or 16:9 dimension videos – horizontal orientation.

We also want to feature our kids – so send in pictures and stories describing the key plays in your games.

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to tag us on social!

Have a great season!
